The US Army Corps of Engineers recently released their 2014 Climate Change Adaptation Plan. This document guides myriad aspects of USACE planning, enforcement, permitting, and implementation.
It’s a strong plan based on three “key pillars” to:
- Cut carbon pollution
- Prepare for climate change
- Lead international efforts to combat climate change and prepare for its impacts
